Anna Hutchison plays Amy
It's another January, but one year on. Amy is back on
the Shore - and she's a woman with ambitions...
Anna Hutchison has built a remarkable acting career in New Zealand
and overseas.
Before returning to New Zealand to film the fourth season of
Go Girls, Anna
was based in Sydney where she filmed a major role on Wild Boys, an
Australian series about bush rangers in the 1860s.
In 2010, she also starred in the Australian-made telemovie,
Panic At Rock Island and did a stint on Sea
Patrol.
Anna's big break into international stardom came when she crossed
the ditch following production wrap on season one of Go Girls, and
starred as Alison Dine in the acclaimed Australian drama Underbelly
: Tale of Two Cities (named Underbelly : The Mr Asia Story in New
Zealand).
Next she headed to Canada to star in Joss Whedon's horror film,
Cabin in the Woods. The feature film is due for release in New
Zealand in 2012.
Having first graced New Zealand screens as a teenager, Anna is well
remembered for her role as Delphi Greenlaw on the weeknight serial
drama
Shortland Street.
She has also featured in Legend of the Seeker, Ride with the Devil
and the Power Rangers series.
Anna's achievements both locally and internationally were
recognised in the 2009 WIFT Awards where she was nominated for the
Images & Sound Success in Television award.
