Alix Bushnell plays Britta
It's another January, but one year on. Britta has been
through a very big change.
In fine McMann tradition, she is the solo mum of a little girl,
now four months old.
Alix Bushnell was plucked from New Zealand's National Drama School,
Toi Whakaari and selected for the role of Britta back in season one
of
Go Girls
.
Since then, Alix had a major role in the New Zealand feature film,
Matariki, directed by Michael Bennett.
She shot the film between production on season one and two of Go
Girls. The role earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress
in a Feature Film at the 2011 Aotearoa Film and Television Awards
(AFTAs).
She also appeared in TV ONE's local drama series
This is Not My Life and has featured in a few
television commercials.
In early 2011, Alix starred in the theatre production of The
Vagina Monologues at the Hawke's Bay Opera House.
Theatreview described Alix's performance as "show-stealing... of
the highest pure entertainment value."
