Liverpool's star striker Fernando Torres has admitted he is enjoying life at the club so much he may consider seeing out the rest of his career at Anfield.
The news will come as a massive boost to Liverpool fans after Spanish boss Rafael Benitez, admitted that rival Premier League clubs, reported to be Manchester City and Chelsea, had inquired about the former Atletico Madrid skipper.
But the 25-year-old - who has scored an impressive 58 goals in 93 appearances since joining the club in 2007 - is adamant he would never join another English team, especially bitter rivals Manchester United, because he has been made so welcome at Anfield.
"I can understand the feelings between Man Utd and Liverpool," Torres told Sport magazine when asked if he would ever consider playing for the current Premier League champions.
"I'm a foreign player, but I know how the Liverpool fans feel and I remember the welcome I had when I arrived - it was amazing.
"I hope to play a lot of years or maybe even finish my career here.
"I don't know, but Liverpool is my English team and I don't think about playing for another one."
