If this is the effect football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has on one of the worlds most gifted and respected football players in the world, then imagine what effect he has on the rest of us.

Yes, we have been holding out on this one for a while, but you cannot ignore this 24-year-old Real Madrid ace and world's most expensive footballer for long.

Along with being captain of the Portuguese national side, former Manchester United star C-Ron also beat the likes of Lionel Messi and Real team-mate Kaka to be named FIFA's World Player of the Year in 2009.

But although he has the looks, the cash and the talent, the headlines are never far away from this star.

There was the infamous 'wink' at the 2006 World Cup which left England fans baying for his blood after he got his then United team-mate Wayne sent off during the crucial clash, there was long and drawn out transfer to Real Madrid saga that took over TWO of our summers, and the driving of his 200,000 thousand pound Ferrari into a wall.

There is also the penchant for wearing pink, and those incredibly tight short-shorts he is known to favour.

But somehow, this European hottie always seems to bounce back, fitter and more loved than ever.

And although C-Ron may not be everyone's cup of tea, this Portuguese man O' love has no trouble scoring off the pitch as much as he does on it.

On the lady front, Ronaldo has been linked to a plethora of woman, including a 'relationship' with kooky Spanish model Nereida Gallardo Alvarez and a high profile fling with Hollywood royalty Paris Hilton.

And now, Ronaldo even has one over former football hotness icon David Beckham after the muscles from Madeira was named the new face of Emporio Armani Underwear.
