Wellington Phoenix captain Andrew Durante is hopeful the All Whites World Cup qualification will have a major spin-off for the A-League football club.

The Phoenix' six All Whites, plus coach Ricki Herbert have returned to club duties for the first time on Tuesday.

Durante says it's up to them to capitalise on the feel-good factor with good results.

He says they get excellent support from the Yellow Fever group, but hopefully others will now come along to home games.

The All Whites contingent has got stuck straight back into Phoenix training without any signs of a World Cup hangover - physically or mentally.

The Phoenix play the Jets in Newcastle on Sunday.
