All Whites striker Chris Killen has had a dream start to his Chinese Super League stint, scoring the winning goal for Shenzhen Ruby last night.
Australian football website fourfourtwo.com said Killen, who came on as a second half substitute, scored in the 80th minute against Liaonin Whowin to secure a 2-1 victory.
Killen timed his run perfectly and gave the Liaonin keeper no chance with a superbly taken volley
Killen, who started all three matches for the All Whites at the World Cup in South Africa last month, was recently released by English Championship club Middlesbrough.
He is no stranger to China after playing in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing as one of three over-age players in the New Zealand side.
