All Whites coach Ricki Herbert is sticking to his hard-nosed stance over the availability of Plymouth Argyle striker Rory Fallon.

Fallon has indicated he would like to miss next month's international friendly against Mexico in Los Angeles in order to help Argyle in their fight against relegation from English football's Championship division.

Herbert says he has made it clear to Plymouth that he wants Fallon to play whether he likes it or not.

He says he is about to forward the All Whites squad to New Zealand Football and he is picking a first-choice team which includes Fallon.

The coach says the Mexico match is likely to be the last opportunity to get a full-strength squad playing together before June's World Cup.
