Wilson is a passionate footwear designer based in Auckland. After
graduating from Massey University - and securing an A.M.P
scholarship - Kathryn launched her first range of leather footwear
tvnz.co.nz asked Kathryn to reveal the trends she currently loves... and loathes.
Where are you based?
What can we expect from your collection?
A lot of colour, bright printed fabrics and leathers, platform heels, boots, reference of military styling and trims.
Who or what inspires your design aesthetic/look?
Colour, cultures, directional trends from streets around the world, especially Tokyo.

A footwear buyer!
Which current trend do you:
Comfortable platform wedges or heels.
This year NZ Fashion Week celebrates its 10th birthday. Who is your favourite designer from the last 10 years?
Juliette Hogan and Hailwood are wonderfully talented people.
What's your fashion advice for Kiwi women?
If you feel great wearing what you've chosen you'll no doubt look great while you're wearing it... theres a lot to be said for confidence and comfort.
