Scottie Norgrove loved his Harley. But after he developed cancer he decided to get his hog converted into a trike.

The laid back three- wheeled machine made famous by Billy Connelly. Scottie was well pleased with the result.

But as he got sicker Scottie couldn't ride so much. He asked Taupo-based company Trikeworks, who'd converted his Harley-Davidson, to sell it on behalf. They did so in October 2005. Trikeworks paid some of the money but there was $12,000 outstanding from the trade-in.

His widow Michelle tells Fair Go that over the following four years Scottie tried everything to get the money off Trikeworks owner Neil Sheerin. Scottie's diary shows a total of 75 calls made, but not a cent was paid.

Even after Scottie died in June this year, nothing. Trikeworks claims they were going through financial difficulties and couldn't afford to pay.

Phil takes the WMM-mobile (a 1960 Dodge Pioneer) to confront Mr Sheerin about the debt.
