Linda Cardellini's combination of irresistible charm and natural talent has already earned her a reputation for being one of the most promising young actresses in Hollywood.
Cardellini appeared in "Brokeback Mountain," opposite Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams, Anne Hathaway and Randy Quaid. Cardellini can also be seen in the upcoming independent film "American Gun," with Forest Whitaker, Donald Sutherland and Marcia Gay Harden.
Cardellini starred in the sequel to the Warner Bros. blockbuster hit "Scooby-Doo," reprising her role as Velma Dinkley, the brains of Mystery, Inc., in "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard. She first made her mark in the critically acclaimed series "Freaks and Geeks." She starred as Lindsay Weir, a precocious academic decathlete who experiences a crisis of faith after witnessing the death of her grandmother.
Cardellini's other feature film credits include "Legally Blonde," "Good Burger," "Dead Man on Campus," the thriller "Strangeland" and the independent feature "The Unsaid," opposite Andy Garcia. She also appears in the independent feature "Jiminy Glick in La La Wood," starring Martin Short.
Aside from her breakout role on "Freaks and Geeks," Cardellini's television work includes "The Lot," "Guys Like Us" and "Bone Chillers." Her guest appearances include "3rd Rock from the Sun," "Boy Meets World" and "Clueless".
