Here ya go movie buffs ... for those of you who have been hanging out to see the trailer from Peter Jackson's new film The Lovely Bones, the wait is over.
The film is Jackson's first major directing turn since King Kong and with it he takes a departure from the blockbuster films he became a globally recognised name with.
The film is based on Alice Sebold's novel which tells the story of Susie Salmon, a young girl who is murdered, but continues to observe her family and her killer after her death.
The lead role of Susie Salmon is played by Saoirse Ronan, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in 2007s Atonement at just the age of 13.
The cast is rounded out by Oscar winners Susan Sarandon, who plays Grandma Lyn and Rachel Weisz who plays Susie's mother. Susie's father is played by Mark Wahlberg, who was cast after Ryan Gosling dropped out of the film over "creative differences" shortly before shooting began.
