Last week we gave you some insider tips on how to prep that bod of yours to make it swimwear friendly. Now with the lazy, hazy days of summer peaking around the corner, it's time for the great unveiling of the bod!

The hunt is on for the ultimate swimsuit!

There are so many styles choose from these days it can be confusing finding something that you like but still suits you. What you need to do first and foremost is to think about what your bodyshape is.

Curvy, hour-glass figured gals with big busts suit halter-neck numbers (good for containing that ample cleavage). Bikini styles can also highlight a slim waist.

Unless you are really trying to cover up in a maillot, one-pieces are best only worn by those lucky ladies out there with slim, athletic figures.

Boy leg pants are also good for those with fit bodies and great if you don't want to show too much flesh.

For those on the short side, high cut bikini bottoms make the legs look longer and elongate your figure.

When in doubt though, the simple two-piece bikini is still the hottest look on the beach this summer.

Style Blog particularly loves those in store now at Country Road.

For the brave, there are also lots of sexy swimwear looks out there that aren't designed to be in the water at all. This look is for the poolside only and to be worn with loads of jewellery and super cool sunnies at all times.

Style Blog has been eying up an especially sexy cut-out maillot from Sass and Bide (available at Superette). It is blinged up, flashy and just great!

And a controversial and timely one to add to the mix...

Have fun in the sun and don't forget to slip, slop, slap!
