New Moon fans don't start celebrating yet.
We've told you Dakota Fanning is possibly up for the part of evil Jane in the sequel to Twilight - and that she'd been offered the role outright.
Well, at the premiere of Dakota's latest film, Push, in America, it was revealed the ink's not dried on the contract - or even written - yet.
The film's made by the same studio who did Twilight - Summit Entertainment.
Entertainment Weekly is quoting Fanning as saying: "I think it is too soon to say for sure whether I will or won't be in [New Moon]."
Furthermore she told EW.com. "But it would be really cool to do it. I am a very big fan of the books. I read them all and Jane is an interesting part. We haven't really sat down and talked about it. So we will see. It was a good experience working with Summit. I guess I now have an in at the company."
So that means it's not yet set in stone then we guess.
Also reported, Taylor Lautner's beefing himself up -both physically and mentally for his role as Jacob in the sequel.
Which is a good sign for him after the questions over whether he could play the role.
The film's still on track for a November 20 US release - and probably out around Christmas in New Zealand.

I am a Twilight Addict for sure! I am Team Jakeward all the way, lol. I reckon Eclipse should be the best version of all for movies... but the books kick butt much more! But if you've read the books, I don't think it matters at all whether this one will live up to expectations, cause the stories have already captured our hearts!

im totally addictive to the twilight sequals. i love Edward!!! breaking dawn would be better in to movies so thay can make the movies more detalled. Cant wait for elipse and breakingdawn to come out!!!

Well what can I say, I am a total Twilight addict! I love the two films so far- but love the books a whole lot more! They NEED to make Breaking Dawn into 2 films. There are just sooo many amazing parts to it that so many [important] things will end up getting missed out! It is kinda essential that it's made into two films! Please, make two films!

I ahve to say that Jacob is who I would go with because of his looks but he hasn't got the personality that Edward has. If I were Bella and Jacob had the personality of Edward you would have the best guy in the world!!
