TVNZ has featured strongly in the latest TV Guide Best on the Box People's Choice Awards.
ONE News has been voted best news, while Peter Williams has taken out the best news presenter category. His Breakfast colleague, Tamati Coffey, has been named best weather presenter.
Breakfast also won best lifestyle show while Fair Go has won best advice show. Fair Go's Kevin Milne has been voted Best Presenter for a Lifestyle/Advice show.
TV3's Hamish McKay and John Campbell were voted best sport and best current affairs presenters respectively.
In the non-news awards Shortland Street's Ido Drent - who plays Daniel Potter - was named as a rising star, while the ever-popular Jason Gunn won best presenter for a general programme and funniest person on TV.
Gunn's show, Dancing With The Stars, was voted best entertainment show while TV ONE's Intrepid Journeys won best documentary series. Best reality show went to Police Ten-7
Outrageous Fortune's Robyn Malcolm and Anthony Starr were both double winners taking out the best and sexiest actor awards.
