Jonah Hill was put in his place by Tom Hanks during Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
The Moneyball actor hosted the NBC show on Saturday (local time) and the opening sketch started with him talking about how proud he was to have been nominated for an Academy Award last month, despite losing out to silent film The Artist.
"It's been a great year for me. I was in a film I am extremely proud of. Even though The Artist won best picture, I still think 'Moneyball' was one of this year's best talkies."
He then went to a pre-taped routine about his week behind the scenes, which shows him telling the SNL cast to follow his lead because he's an "Oscar nominee".
He even bragged about having Moneyball co-star Brad Pitt's telephone number, but when he tried to call the Hollywood heartthrob, the number was disconnected.
Double Oscar-winning actor Hanks then stopped by and put Jonah in his place by reminding him he's a two-time Academy Award winner.
The Forrest Gump actor handed Hill one of his own Oscars saying, "I would like you to have this."
A surprised Hill asked: "Do you mean it?"
But Hanks immediately shot him down, shouting: "No! I'm kidding man. You lost."
