Toast Martinborough tickets sold out

Tickets to the Wellington region's most coveted wine festival have all sold out after going on sale at 9am on Wednesday.

All 6,000 tickets sold out in just 13 minutes.

Organiser Rachael Fletcher says the November 15 event attracts people from all around the country.

She says 4,000 tickets have already been sold to the Friends of Martinborough group, many of whom come back year after year.

Rachael Fletcher says 11 wineries will participate in this year's event, and all have teamed up with different restaurateurs.
