Unlikely internet celebrity Susan Boyle has a new fan: Elaine Paige, the singer she would most like to emulate.

Boyle, the 47-year-old Scottish singing spinster, has won admiration the world over, with over 30 million hits on You Tube of her performance on Britain's Got Talent.

Elaine Paige says Boyle is a role model for everyone who has a dream and is now touting the idea of the pair singing together.

"It seems her performance has captured the hearts of everyone who saw it, me included," Paige says on her official website, elainepaige.com.

"It looks like I have competition! Perhaps we should record a duet?"
