This week you may have spotted our gorgeous Breakfast co-host, Pippa Wetzell, wearing some particularly glam dresses on the show.
The dresses are from Yvonne Bennetti's new season range, and in the calm before the madness that was Fashion Week, Style Blog went along to the see Yvonne's latest collection.
This label is known for consistently giving "good frock" and Yvonne Bennetti's Summer 2010 collection does not disappoint! Yvonne designs wonderfully sexy clothes that are perfect for garden parties, weddings, cocktail nights and "after-5" events.
Yvonne's glam factor can be also dressed down for daywear by throwing a soft biker-style jacket over the top of a dress or wearing one of her signature frilly blouses teamed back with jeans.
What we saw
There was an array of dresses from dangerously sexy, body-con mini dresses in shocking pink and extremely fitted, sparkly singlet-style dresses, to the other side of the spectrum - roomy, floaty, smock-like dresses that could hide a multitude of sins!
Most of the pieces featured embroidery and embellishments, especially around the neckline.
We saw lots of Grecian-style wrap dresses and cute, one-shouldered numbers.
Yvonne is fond of a good print and both animal and floral prints abounded creating a perfect blend of girly sweetness intermixed with a bit of rock and roll walk on the wild side!
There were short satin trenches in jewel tones worn as dresses and loads of highly covetable versions of the classic little black dress.
The colour palette of the collection is amazing, with beautiful azure blues, bright yellows, hot pinks and reds.
The knock-out pieces were definitely Yvonne's maxi dresses (the yellow strapless maxi dress is to-die-for) and also the styles in the purple, the floral and the black and white graphic prints.
