Bring on the Biker brigade!
Leather is everywhere and most designers feature it in some form in
their collections.
Leather is the best way to toughen up a look that might be a tad too much on the pretty/girly side of things.

We love Helen Cherry's tailored, sexy leather pencil skirt. So
naughty librarian!
Also, Trelise Cooper's label "Cooper" has the most amazingly soft leather jacket that is a season must-buy.
Our own beloved Pippa Wetzell from Breakfast has one and currently is wearing it to death. Pippa looks so hot in it!
We also love the skinny leather pants Yvonne Bennetti are doing and the faux ones Country Road are doing: tres Rock 'n' Roll chic!

The 80s
From homages to fab 80's icons Grace Jones and Dynasty's Krystal
Carrington, the Eighties theme continues and appears stronger than
ever.
Even chain stores such as Cue have gone completely troppo over the look while just about every single designer has referenced that crazy era of excess.
Think tight body-con dresses, huge shoulder pads and bedazzled epaulettes (a tribute to the late, great Michael Jackson perchance?)
The 80s diva was all about empowerment with a defiant "look at moi" attitude.
