With all the wild and unpredictable weather we've been experiencing recently, summer fashion is the last thing on our minds. Fashion, however, is always one step ahead of the seasons and designers have already unveiled their Spring/Summer 2012 collections to the media.
It's always exciting to see what we have to look forward
to!
Here's a sneak peek of what's to come from Trelise Cooper who
showed her well received collection last week at Coutt's
Mercedes-Benz showroom.
For summer 2012, Trelise has designed another beautiful collection of clothes that are whimsical, fun and very wearable.
Both labels, Trelise Cooper and Cooper are filled with beautiful pieces that feature interesting patterns, decorative motifs and wonderful strong uses of colour.
Out of the two labels, Cooper is more casual and relaxed. Think easy to wear resort wear.
This season, Trelise goes tribal!
We see lots of cute cotton sun frocks, skirts and tops in
colourful prints and patterns with influences from Native American
Indian, South American, African and the Pacific Islands to name but
a few.
Trelise's main label Trelise Cooper has beautifully embellished silk and lace tops and dresses that feature interesting prints and designs. Wide leg palazzo pants in red, blue and even gold sequins are perfect for a relaxed jet-set luxe look.
Kaftans with exotic names such as Mozambique, Temptress and Birds of Paradise conjure up images of bohemian high glamour.
Trelise's accessories are just as fab! The gold sequinned beach tote is super fun and we love the two chunky necklaces, one comes in silver with turquoise and the other one in gold with coral. They are perfect for summer!
Ah summer, we can't wait! Now back to reality and wrapping up warmly!!
See you all next week!
