The upcoming royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton has happily bought back a resurgence of all things British and with it comes a re-ignited love-affair with the English royalty.
After a long slumber, the British Monarchy is suddenly back in vogue again and with it comes a new breed of ardent fans. These young royalists are obsessed with all the glamour and the privileges that go hand in hand with being a young royal.
Not since the wedding of Princess Di to Prince Charles back in the early 80s has there been so much interest in the British royals.
While you never want to be naive in this crazy, turbulent world, it's still really important always retain some form of your childhood innocence. It's nice to still believe in fairytales and we are all looking forward to seeing a modern-day fairy tale wedding unfold in front of our eyes on the 29th April.
While green with envy, young girls all over the world simply adore and aspire to be just like Kate. Also, the fact that Kate is but a mere "commoner" makes it seem all the more obtainable!
Previously, young girls aspired to be a "wag" such as the queen of the "wags" Victoria Beckham a.k.a Posh Spice. Now it's all about wanting to be a Princess! We'd choose a handsome, wealthy Prince over a smelly footballer any day!
Certainly the lady-like look is huge in fashion at the moment with designers offering looks that take us back to the salad days of yesteryear.
Also, TV shows such as Mad Men and its emphasis on the strong feminine silhouette has certainly been felt.
It's actually nice to finally see ladies behaving like ladies again, being polite, not swearing and having manners! Etiquette, poise, tact and personal deportment are vital if you are keen on becoming a proper princess!
Speaking of princesses, many princesses-in training were to be seen at The Langham Hotel's launch of Tea Royale that featured Natalie Chan's exclusive Royal Collection of Couture Millinery.
