Hats Off to the
Races
Last night's show was held at the historic old customhouse now known as the DFS Galleria in Auckland. It was a beautiful show that showed us exactly why Natalie's designs are in such hot demand.
Sunglasses, make up and parfum were provided by Christian Dior.
There was an array of beautiful dresses designed by Natalie, all of them perfect for cocktail parties and for the races.
Natalie is fond of colour and there were the most amazing jewel toned dresses on offer: jade green, bright orange, fuschia pink and canary yellow ones were the stand-outs.
Classics such as black and white were also were added to the mix.
The big attraction of the night was of course the hats!
Natalie has created another beautiful and whimsical collection with many looks that will please. Natalie is highly creative young lady who has a great eye elegance and style.

The House of Christian Dior
The French couturier, Christian Dior presented his first collection back in 1947 and it was quickly dubbed "The New Look".
His collection was initially seen as controversial because of the incredible detail and amount of fabric Monsieur Dior used on each garment. Post-World War II, this was frowned on and regarded as frivolous and excessive.
Despite all the the furore, Dior's clothes actually ended up revolutionising the way women dress.
The Dior label has lived on through the decades and since 1996 the amazingly talented, John Galliano has been at its designing helm.
The label continues to flourish and has never looked back.
Designing for Dior, Galliano believes his "role is to seduce". His love of femininity and anything and everything theatrical continues.
Christian Dior's Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection
This new season collection is typically Galliano, humourous and fresh and yet brilliantly thought-out. The theme is of 1940's guys and dolls with inspiration from the Navy in the South Pacific.
The nautical looks are particularly cute with white and navy, sailor-inspired wide-leg pants, dark blue leather pea coats, white shorts and very cool, over-sized white parkas.
Hawaiian style floral printed dresses stand out as do the brightly coloured frocks (fabulous for the races) Galliano is a genius!
Check out what we loved!
See you all next week!
