Last week we mentioned how important it was to keep up a glamorous front as we start plying on millions of layers of clothes in order to keep warm.

Layering to survive is a necessity and it can be done well. It can also be done extremely badly when you end up looking like a swaddled- up beach ball!

In our last Style Blog on Yvonne Bennetti, we showed you that glamour is alive and well in NZ with Yvonne's sexy Winter Collection, "Glamour in Moscow". When you wear gorgeous coats over beautiful, sexy dresses you are always going to stand out from a crowd and look a million bucks.

Another way to "up your glam factor" another notch or two this winter is to invest in a luxury item. A classic, beautifully crafted piece that endures wacky tacky trends and fads the crazy fashion world love to throw on us will be an eternal, essential fail-safe item in your wardrobe forever.

Despite the hefty amount you initially shell out for a luxury bag, shoes or accessory, it will be well worth it. Just calculate the amount of wears you'll get out of it and then it all makes sense.

Without a doubt, Louis Vuitton is one of the most prestigious luxury brands in the World.  LV creates beautifully crafted products that withstand the test of time and are synonymous with elegance and style.

The famous LV monogram and logo is inarguably the World's most recognised brand. Louis Vuitton luggage and bags are what the brand is most known for and these pieces are symbols of true sophistication, prestige and wealth.

LV also has incredible corresponding womenswear and menswear collections that pare back nicely with all the accessories, shoes and bags. Louis Vuitton has been around since 1854 and are true survivors of the fickle fashion and luxury goods industry.

LV gained invigoration and a fresher, younger and hipper following back in 1997 when fashion designer-come-genius, Marc Jacobs was appointed chief designer.

Last week at the Louis Vuitton store in Auckland, Style Blog attended a special night dedicated to celebrating Mother's Day and the VIP clients shopped up a storm!

See you next week!
