Mary Yandall, of the all-female New Zealand singing group the Yandall sisters, has died.

Performing alongside her sisters Adele and Pauline, Mary entertained audiences both here and abroad for over 30 years.

The Yandall Sisters' most well-known song, Sweet Inspiration, stayed on the NZ Top 20 singles chart for eight weeks in 1974.

The group was named New Zealand Entertainer of the Year in 1977 and has continued performing since.
