The woman at the centre of media gossip surrounding the cause of Tiger Woods recent car accident and subsequent injuries has denied that she's having an affair with him.
Rachel Uchitel, a director of VIP services for Pink Elephant which specialises in the New York club scene, admits she's met Woods on a number of occasions, but told the New York Post that she'd never seen him outside work and certainly never slept with him.
"This is nothing to do with me. We have never had an affair, and the claims we did are completely false... I am really upset about it because I am being portrayed as a homewrecker, when it simply isn't true."
Uchitel claims that The National Enquirer paid a friend $US25,000 to make up a story about her and Woods.
She says she's offered to take a polygraph for the newspaper to prove her side, but "they refused it. They told me it was too late and the story was running anyway."
In October, Rachel was also accused of sleeping with married actor David Boreanaz. Something she referred to in her interview with the New York Post.
"Other things have happened in my past that would prevent me from doing anything like this. I have traveled with men that are quietly more important than Tiger Woods and it is incredibly difficult to get to their hotel room," she said, referring to a report that she had been in Woods' hotel room in Australia earlier this year.
