Pearl Jam announce shows for NZ

Pearl Jam fans rejoice, the Seattle rockers have announced the will play in two New Zealand shows in November.

The band will play for one night each in Auckland on November 27 at Mt Smart Stadium, and Christchurch on November 29 at AMI Stadium.

The tour is to promote the band's ninth album, Backspacer and it will be the third time they have played in New Zealand.

Pearl Jam will be supported by none other than Ben Harper, who has himself played many a sold out show in New Zealand. Relentless 7, and New Zealand's Liam Finn will also open for the band.

Tickets go on sale on August 17.
