One Direction has performed to its most prestigious audience yet, singing in the 100th Royal Variety Performance for Queen Elizabeth II in London.
Looking dapper in suits and ties, the boys walked through the star-studded crowd to the stage where they sat on glowing plinths and performed their number-one single Little Things.
Harry Styles was obviously overwhelmed after having the opportunity to perform for the Queen and then meet her after the show, tweeting:
Today, I met The Queen.

The annual charity concert was hosted by David Walliams and also featured performances from Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond, Alicia Keys and a newly reformed Girls Aloud.
One Direction have been making the rounds of TV variety programmes lately, performing on the Today show, the Ellen show and the X Factor USA in recent days.
Following his X Factor appearance, Harry Styles is reported to be romancing country star Taylor Swift, whom he met backstage.
Swift has since received a deluge of Twitter abuse and death threats from passionate One Direction fans.
