Exclusive Trailer: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

It's been an iconic game for years and now its almost time for it to appear on the big screen.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley and Gemma Arterton are soon to be seen in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time in 2010.

But there's no need to wait too long, here's an exclusive first look at the trailer for the new film thanks to our pals at Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

Set in Persia, the film sees a rogue prince, played by Jake Gyllenhaal and mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) in a race against time and pitted against dark forces as they try to safeguard an ancient dagger.

That dagger is capable of releasing The Sands of Time; an ancient gift from the gods, which reverses time and allows whoever holds it the chance to rule the world...

The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is due for release in May 2010.
