Nicki Minaj pushes back NZ show dates

Nicki Minaj has put off her visit to New Zealand later this year.

She tweeted her tour would have to be pushed back a bit, saying the reason is "secret" but exciting.

The rapper apologised to her fans, who she calls 'Barbz', saying they will be"'very happy" when they find out the reason why it is postponed.

Live Nation, the promoter of the tour, said it will now happen between November and December and hopes to announce the exact dates soon.

Minaj was due to perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on September 28.
