Model scorned by One Direction fans

The US model who was snapped locking lips with a One Direction star in New Zealand is wearing the wrath of the band's fans.

Emma Ostilly was spotted on the town with Harry Styles during the band's New Zealand pit-stop.

Styles reportedly met up with the model in Grey Lynn's Gypsy Tea Rooms, and Ostilly is said to have visited the group's Langham hotel room after the boys' Auckland gig at Waitakere's Trusts Stadium.

However, the 18-year-old says she has had hate messages through social media websites from One Direction fans, and an anti-Emma page has been set up on Facebook.

She is now heading back to New York after being in New Zealand for fashion shoots and says while she has enjoyed her time here, she did not enjoy the attentions of the One Direction fans.

Styles and Ostilly are believed to have met for the first time when she featured on the group's video for Gotta Be You, shot last Spring in New York.
