Pop princess Kylie Minogue is poised to make her Bollywood debut with a song-and-dance routine in a new movie with one of India's most popular action stars.

Minogue has jetted to Mumbai to film her scene in the underwater epic, Blue, which stars Akshay Kumar.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper in Britain reported that Minogue, who has sold more than 60 million albums, has recorded a song written by AR Rahman, who composed the soundtrack for the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

The Australian singer will perform her routine alongside Kumar's character in the film.
