The doctor under investigation over the death of Michael Jackson has posted a video on YouTube saying he has faith the truth will prevail.
Dr Conrad Murray was with the pop star when he died and the message to his patients and friends is his first public comment since then.
He says he is "afraid to return phone calls" or use e-mail due to the controversy over Jackson's death.
"I want to thank all of my patients and friends who have sent such kind e-mails, letters and messages to let me know of your support and prayers for me and my family," Murray says.
He says he has told the truth and he has faith the truth will prevail.
Jackson died suddenly on June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest.
An investigation is underway into suggestions Murray, who is a cardiologist, administered the drug Diprivan to Jackson within 24 hours of his death.
Police have raided his Las Vegas home and medical office, as well as his Houston office, but he has not been formally charged.
