As anticipation rises for the forthcoming adaptation of Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones, the film's poster's been unveiled.
Director Peter Jackson's adaptation of the book is an all star affair with Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci and Michael Imperioli among the cast.
Saoirse Ronan takes on the role of Susie Salmon, the murdered girl who watches over her family - and her killer - from heaven. She's already being tipped by an Irish newspaper to snag an Oscar nomination for her portrayal. If that were the case, it'd be the second nomination for Saoirse, who was nominated for her role in Atonement.
The film also sees Jackson re-teaming with Fran Walsh on the screenplay.

The Lovely Bones is due for release on Boxing Day in
