Model Lara Bingle is reportedly suing controversial AFL
footballer Brendan Fevola following the release of a nude
photo.
The picture of Bingle, allegedly taken while the pair were involved
in a secret affair in 2006, was published in Australia's Woman's
Day.
It shows her taking a shower, trying to cover herself with her
right hand.
Bingle's manager Max Markson told the Herald Sun his client had met
with lawyers and decided to sue Fevola.
"Lara Bingle is taking legal action against Brendan Fevola for
breach of privacy, defamation and misuse of her image," he told the
newspaper.
The photo of Bingle is known to have been circulating in football
circles for years, the newspaper reported.
Fevola was dumped by Carlton after he became drunk and disgraced
himself at the Brownlow Medal last year.
He was traded to the Brisbane Lions.
Nude photos of Bingle, now engaged to cricketer Michael Clarke,
appeared several years ago on the German website for GQ
magazine.
