Kylie Minogue could team up with sister Dannii and fellow Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia to host a benefit in London for Victorian bushfire victims.

Australian author Kathy Lette, a friend of Melbourne-born Kylie, told Tuesday's edition of free commuter newspaper London Lite that plans were underway for an event to honour those who had perished.

"We want to hold a memorial service in London so people can pay their respects," Lette was quoted as saying.

"We're working on that now. The situation down there is really, really dreadful."

She was apparently speaking at the Elle Style Awards on Monday night, where Imbruglia presented a gong.

The singer was keen to stage an event to help those who had lost their home.

Imbruglia said: "I think we should definitely talk about doing something like a fundraiser for those affected by the bushfires".
