Kevin Costner marries

"Dances With Wolves" star Kevin Costner married his girlfriend Christine Baumgartner on Saturday in a ceremony set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains at his ranch in Aspen, Colorado.
   
Costner, 49, and Baumgartner, 30, who designs handbags, announced their plans to wed in June 2003. They have been together for five years.
   
After the ceremony the actor took his bride for a romantic canoe ride. They planned to honeymoon in Scotland.
   
This is the first marriage for Baumgartner and the second for Costner, who was divorced in 1994. Costner has three children with his former wife.
   
In addition to "Dances With Wolves," (1990) which won seven Oscars, Costner's movie credits include "JFK" (1991); "Bull Durham" (1988); "The Untouchables" (1987); and "Field of Dreams" (1989).
