Kelly Osbourne says photographs make her look fatter than she really is.
The British TV star, who is training to star in the US version of Dancing With The Stars, is often confronted by fans surprised to see how slender she is in real life.
She explained to Britain's Star magazine: "When people see me, they always say that. I photograph fat, I know I do. I'll give you an example: At 9am, I walked into the This Morning studio and they were doing a fashion piece, and one of the models turned around and she has this face that looked like she had just smelled poo and she said: 'Oh my god! You're so much better-looking in real life.' And I was just like: 'Thanks.' What a backhanded compliment! But I don't care."
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old starlet, who is engaged to marry her 19-year-old model fiance Luke Worrall, has recently lost 14lbs in weight by training hard with her dance partner Louis Van Amstel for the reality show.
She explained to Closer magazine: "I've almost lost 14lbs already, I'm so excited! By the end of it I'll be a lean, mean machine. It's so amazing, I've tried so many stupid fad diets to try to lose weight, when all I needed to do was start dancing."
Osbourne is currently rehearsing for five hours a day as well as undertaking two Pilates classes each week.
She said: "My whole life has changed so much since Dancing With The Stars. I've never felt so healthy.
"Pilates is amazing, my posture is so much better and I'm even starting to get muscles on my tummy - it's incredible. I've become totally obsessed with Pilates, everyone should try it."
