Oscar-nominated British actor Jude Law is to become a father for the fourth time, his representative says, but the mother's identity has yet to be disclosed.
"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due later this year," his representative said.
He is no longer in the relationship, but intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life.
Law was married to actress Sadie Frost from 1997 to 2003 and they have three children.
He earned Oscar nominations for his roles in 2003's Cold Mountain and 1999's The Talented Mr. Ripley.
The actor will next appear in Sherlock Holmes due out on Christmas Day, playing the famous detective's assistant, Dr. Watson.
