Right, so let me preface this by saying, I am not a fan of Lindsay Lohan. I can't be bothered with her sad, attention seeking ways.

So of course I was the first to smirk over this morning's report that Lohan thinks she should have starred in Black Swan. Especially as the story went on to describe the rest of her behaviour during the photo shoot.

The story goes, Lohan was flown to Miami to do a photo shoot and interview for Plum Miami magazine. She did the shoot but then pulled out of the interview, but not before revealing that she should have been considered for Natalie Portman's role in Black Swan.

Magazine writer Jacquelynn Powers ripped into the actress, saying: "As we pulled up to the Fontainebleau, a bright-orange parking cone was blocking the entrance. Not accustomed to waiting, apparently, she lowered the car's window and shouted, 'Move that cone. I'm Lindsay Lohan.' And it was done."

She drank wine, even when discussing her sobriety, and was "constantly looking for drama, whether it was picking a fight with her younger sister& or freaking out over a lost pair of Zanotti heels."

She said she "took ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie Black Swan."

She overstayed her welcome at nightclubs and, eventually, the entire trip: "Monday morning was supposed to be check-out time, but Lindsay and her posse refused to leave& It was like watching the lights come on at a nightclub after-hours-not pretty."

It's very much in keeping with other reports we've seen over the years - confirming Lohan's spoilt diva reputation.

Except, where exactly has this report come from?

Plum Miami's website only features this video which actually paints Lohan in a pretty respectable light. She answers all the interviewer's questions coherently. She doesn't appear to be drunk or under the influence. And she looks significantly better than her usual dishevelled self.

So where has this report come from?

A lot of bloggers have ripped the quote from US Weekly's website. But if you read their story closely, they actually attribute the comments to Gawker. Over at Gawker, they attribute the comments back to Plum Magazine. And as I've pointed out, no such article exists on their web site.

I'm not saying it doesn't all sound extremely plausible. It does.

But until I see the full article where Powers explains in her own words what happens, I'm not biting.

Far be it for me to let the facts get in the way of a good story but this just doesn't add up.
