Jackie Chan 'alive and well' despite death rumours

Despite online rumours circulating today over the death of Jackie Chan, the actor has confirmed he is 'alive and well.'

The Rush Hour actor took to his Facebook page to dispel the rumours he died after suffering a heart attack which had been making their way through online networking sites.

He wrote, "Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports."

He adds, "Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie."

He also posted an image of himself with meeting Japanese officials on Wednesday.
