Lady Gaga not only thrilled Kiwi fans over the weekend with a burning piano, latex nun outfits and blood, but has caused uproar with her latest video Telephone, also starring Beyonce.
The two-and-a-half-hour show at Auckland's Vector Arena featured 16 costume changes, extravagant sets and scantily clad dancers.
And Foxnews.com reports that her high-energy concert came as her new video faced debate over its explicit content.
The website says that MTV on Saturday banned Gaga's Telephone video clip and more networks are expected to follow suit, ensuring it is not shown during regular programming.
The video features swearing, violence, full-frontal nudity and lesbian sex references.
The nine-minute clip launched online on Friday (NZT) and has been viewed more than eight million times on YouTube.
Gaga says the clip was inspired by Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino's work.
"I'm always trying to convolute everyone's idea of what a pop music video should be," she says.
