Fun. announce New Zealand gig

New York indie-pop band Fun. have announced they will perform in Auckland next year.

The band's second album, Some Nights, has delivered multi-platinum sales with the singles We are Young and Some Nights reaching first and second spots on the New Zealand charts.

Fun. - made up of Jack Antonoff, Andrew Dost and Nate Ruess - have featured on the TV series Glee and performed on Saturday Night Live .

Rolling Stone magazine called the album "gregarious as heck. Queen-style rock theatrics are welded to Kanye West beats... Some Nights is a hoot: huge-sounding, packed with tunes and not lacking in humour."

The trio will play at the Logan Campbell Centre on 13 March 2013.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on December 13.
