Family have gathered at the bedside of actress Farrah Fawcett to say their final goodbyes.

Her official blog has revealed the Charlie's Angels star was given the last rites earlier on Thursday (NZT).

Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer three years ago.

The 62-year-old and long-time partner Ryan O'Neal announced at the weekend they planned to get married.
