Friends star David Schwimmer has asked his girlfriend, Zoe Buckman, to marry him.

The actor's rep confirmed the engagement news to EW .

Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 24, met in London three years ago.

Unlike his Friends character, Ross Gellar, who was married several times, this is the first marriage for both Schwimmer and Buckman.
