Cliff Richard and The Shadows are back on the road and are coming to New Zealand next February for the first time as a group since 1961.

In 1959 Richard first recorded and performed with The Shadows and now 50 years later they are back on the road for their final tour.

They dominated the British popular music scene in the late 50s and early 60s and between them claimed 19 number one hits.

They appeared together in the movies Summer Holiday and The Young Ones from which came million-selling hit singles and albums.

Tickets go on sale on Friday August 14 for the three dates in Auckland, New Plymouth, and Christchurch.
