Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords has missed out on the Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

Alec Baldwin took the prize for his performance in 30 Rock.

30 Rock also took out the Best Comedy Series award and the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, which they were also nominated for.

Flight of the Conchords were nominated in five categories but failed to scoop one.

They were also nominated in Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama series.
