Kiwi model Charlotte Dawson is reportedly recovering in a Sydney hospital after she was maliciously attacked by Twitter "trolls" overnight.
A St Vincent's Hospital spokesman told the Daily Telegraph the 46-year-old was in hospital in Sydney's Darlinghurst and was expected to make a "full recovery".
"She has asked that her privacy be respected," he said. "She is sitting up in bed and she's in good hands."
Dawson was reportedly rushed to hospital at 3am this morning, an hour after she posted "You win x" and "Hope this ends the misery..." on her Twitter account.
The comments come after the Australia's Next Top Model judge appeared on the Nine Network's A Current Affair last night to raise awareness about internet bullying.
Dawson was attacked by cyber trolls earlier this week who urged her to" please go hang yourself" after she landed one alleged Twitter hater in trouble with their employer.
Tanya Heti was suspended from her mentoring job at Melbourne's Monash University after Dawson reported her abusive tweets to the University, the Daily Telegraph reports.
