Cash-strapped Cage sells more homes

Debt-plagued actor Nicolas Cage has been forced to sell two of his New Orleans houses according to People magazine.

Cage, 45, owes $6 million in back taxes from 2007 and is suing his former manger for bad financial advice.

The National Treasure star had two houses in the French Quarter homes sold through a foreclosure auction.

The houses were sold for $5.6 million - about two-thirds the appraised value - to Cage's bank.

Cage, whose next film is Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, has also sold homes in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and

Rhode Island.
