Grammy-award winning Destiny's Child has announced they will be releasing a new album for the first time in eight years.
Beyonce Knowles confirmed the surprise comeback on her official website with a black and white photo featuring herself and fellow group members Michelle and Kelly Rowland.
"I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!," she posted.
The announcement included a link to pre-order the group's new album titled Love Songs. The album is due for release on January 29.
The trio rose to fame in the late nineties with a string of pop hits such as Survivor and Bootylicious but split in 2005 to pursue solo careers.
Kelly Rowland is scheduled to release her fourth solo album, while Michelle Williams has released three albums and starred in reality television show Strictly Come Dancing and broadway musical Chicago.
Beyonce has released four studio albums, and has also ventured into acting and designing clothes. She married rapper Jay-Z in 2008 and gave birth to a baby girl last year.
