The best Super Bowl XLIV ads

Close to 100 million people watched Super Bowl XLIV and the ad breaks which command almost $US4.5 million for a 30 second slot.

Doritos, Google and Volkswagen were just some of the companies to pay the big ticket price in a fierce competition to make the biggest and best ad.

But the most talked about commercial of the day was one that never screened. An ad for ManCrunch.com, a gay dating service, was rejected. CBS declared it "not within the network's broadcast standards for Super Bowl Sunday."
